Mercantile is a popular coffee and lunch spot where professionals can discussbusiness in the historic downtown Fredericksburg area. Spaces revived the restaurant’s existing space and curated modern furniture to deliberately contrast the old brick walls. A custom sign was hand painted by a local company and the banquette upholstery was hand lettered by a local street artist.
